The excellent boxer, from Gasteiztarra by adoption, Nacho Mendoza, will calibrate his options at lightweight on April 16 against Kakhaber Avetisian. The Georgian presents, at 26, a record of 43 victories and a null for a total of 78 fights. He is a very experienced boxer and used to taking on the best of other countries. In the case of Spain, the former Georgia lightweight champion has recently fought the unbeaten Jerobe Santana or Juli Giner, yielding to points in both cases. His record shines through the victory in France against the then undefeated French division champion Guillaume Salingue.
There will be no physical differences in the lawsuit as both Avetisian and Mendoza are of very similar stature and size. “It will not be an easy fight. We saw Avetisian against Jerobe Santana in Las Palmas and “Chocolatito” had to be used to the full. Avetisian stands up, takes advantage of his moments and has good boxing and a lot of experience. He is a tough opponent who does not give anything away. Be careful with him, ”says Mendoza’s team.
