The new boat of the Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, a model 80 Sunreef Power catamaran of 28 meters in length and 12 in beam, has docked this Friday at the dock of the Club Náutico de Porto Cristo (Mallorca) amid great expectations.
Nadal, who turned 34 last Wednesday and who until now was sailing on the “Beethoven” yacht, can now sail the seas aboard a luxury boat, specially adapted to his tastes.
The catamaran, valued at 5.5 million euros, has several bedrooms for up to twelve people, a spa, a hydromassage pool and a bar, as has been revealed in specialized publications.
One of the characteristics of the yacht that stands out the most is the master suite, which incorporates a double bed that opens onto the bow terrace, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a dressing room and a desk. It also has an auxiliary boat and jet skis.
Last August, the Government’s public company, Ports de les Illes Balears, authorized the Porto Cristo Nautical Club to remodel the moorings of the port so that Nadal, number two in the world and winner of 19 Grand Slams titles, could moor his new and spectacular catamaran. EFE (HN)
