Nadal will debut against Sugita and avoid Djokovic until the final

Tennis player Rafael Nadal, the tournament’s third seeded player, will make his Wimbledon debut on Tuesday against Japan’s Yuichi Sugita and could meet Roger Federer of Switzerland in the semi-finals, avoiding Serbian Novak Djokovic until the final.

Nadal, who despite his number one status was placed as third seeded due to the special formula at Wimbledon, will make his debut in the tournament against Sugita, but in the second round he could face Australian Nick Kyrgios.

For his part, Djokovic, who defends the title and will seek his fifth winch in London, will start against German Philipp Kohlschreiber and Federer, eight times winner at the All England Club and holder of 20 Grand Slam, against South African Lloyd Harris.

Sugita, number 258 in the world, will be the first rival of a Nadal that could be seen in his second game against Kyrgios, who will play with his compatriot Jordan Thompson.
