NBA suspends Bullock and Ellis for doping

The NBA announced that Reggie Bullock of the Detroit Pistons and Monta Ellis of the Indiana Pacers were suspended without pay for five games for violating the terms of the NBA’s Anti-Drug Program.
“His suspensions will begin in the next game of the NBA regular season, in which he is eligible and physically able to play,” added the NBA, without giving further details.
In turn, Indiana regretted in a statement that Ellis did not comply with NBA regulations.
“It’s a serious problem for our franchise to handle accordingly,” the Pacers said.
Ellis, 31, had one of his worst seasons in 2016-17 since his NBA debut in 2005, with 8.5 points, 3.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.
The 26-year-old Bullock has played just 31 games this season for the Pistons, collecting stats of 4.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. AFP
