‘Canelo’ Álvarez and Avni Yildirim had no setbacks on the scale and left the table ready for a festival of blows this Saturday when they dispute the Super Middleweight Championships of the World Boxing Council and World Boxing Association this Saturday night before 15,000 fans at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

This Friday before the scale, the Mexican stopped the scale at 167.6 pounds, just below the category limit of 168 pounds. Yildirim also stopped the scales at 167.6 pounds for this WBC-ordered matchup.
For this fight, the betting lines have Canelo as a wide favorite, up to 40 to 1, which shows that a victory by the Turk Yildirim would be the biggest surprise since Mike Tyson fell against James ‘Buster’ Douglas when ‘Iron’ was a 42-1 favorite.
The weigh-in took place in the bubble designated by Matchroom Boxing and Canelo Promotions for the event in Brickell. (GG) (ESPNDEPORTES)
