Pau Gasol T-shirt, in solidarity auction in favor of multiple sclerosis

A shirt of Pau Gasol -the best Spanish basketball player of all time-, which he used during the Eurobasket 2017, will be auctioned in favor of the Asociación Esclerosis Múltiple España, for the investigation of multiple sclerosis, a rare neurological and chronic disease that is diagnosed in young people, and that has affected more than 50,000 people in Spain

The objective of the auction is to raise funds to continue the investigation of the cause of this disease, the cause of which to this day is unknown.

The shirt was used by the current Portland Trail Blazers player during one of the training sessions for Eurobasket 2017, a tournament in which the Spanish team returned with the bronze medal.

Pau’s shirt was donated by Noelia Martín, who, through her Clouds Solidarity initiative, has been helping to promote research on this disease since 2017, as explained in a statement by the aforementioned Association.

This fundraising initiative has already managed to allocate more than 500,000 euros to develop the most promising national and international studies, and thereby advance towards a definitive solution for this disease.

The auction will be available until Sunday September 22 through the solidarity profile of the Association on the platform ‘eBay’. EFE
