Paris Saint-Germain is the team that has made the most passes (738) and with the greatest effectiveness (92.2%) during each of its matches at the start of the current season according to a report published by the Center’s Football Observatory Sports Studies International (CIES) and sports performance analysis company InStat.

In the item number of passes Shakhtar Donetsk (730), Celtic FC (708), Manchester City (703) and Ajax (699) make up the rest of the top 5, while in the percentage of successful passes Lazio appears in second place with the same 92.2% of PSG, and repeat the Ukrainian club with 90.6%, those of Glasgow with 90.3% and the ‘Citizens’ with 90.1% in the group of the best five.

Sevilla with 670 passes and an 89.4% success rate is the best of the Spanish representatives in both lists in which it is ranked seventh.
