Rajan Rondo says goodbye to the Lakers

After days of new hires, in the Los Angeles Lakers the team’s departures have begun, after moments ago the veteran base Rajon Rondo will communicate through social networks his departure from the NBA champion, after two seasons.

In a post on his Instagram account, the 34-year-old, key to the gold and purple franchise achieving the 17th title in its history, thanked team owner Jeanie Buss and general manager Rob Pelinka for support during these years.

“Thank you to the Lakers organization, Jeanie and Rob for giving me the opportunity to play for an incredible franchise,” said Rondo.

In the letter, he also thanked the team’s coach, Frank Vogel, for “his personality and his support”, adding that “the coaching staff and support staff is something for which I am really grateful”, and then dedicate words to his former teammates and fans.
