The Boston Red Sox obtained the services of outfielder Kyle Schwarber from the Washington Nationals in the MLB.
After the New York Yankees, Angels Dodgers, Tampa Rays and San Diego Padres made moves to improve their offense, the Boston Red Sox were not far behind.
Kyle Schwarber is the fifth player with the most home runs of the MLB2021 season with a total of 25, coming off shooting 15 home runs in 17 games in the month of June, setting multiple records for Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, among others.
According to Jon Heyman, the Nationals are acquiring 20-year-old Mexican pitching prospect Aldo Ramirez at 6’0 who was ranked the 19th prospect in the Boston Red Sox organization.
Schwarber is hitting 253. with 25 home runs, 35 RBIs, 0 doubles, 69 hits and 42 runs. There’s no question that this would be a great endorsement from power hitters like Rafael Devers and JD Martinez. We’re talking about a veteran once all-star and 2016 World Series champion.
It is no secret to anyone that Kyle is a rental for the Red Sox, since he signed for only one season and is a free agent at the end of it.
