The Swiss Roger Federer, the eighth racket in the world at almost 40 years old, was eliminated from the Wimbledon grass tournament on Wednesday by the Pole Hubert Hurkacz (18th), who beat him in the quarterfinals.
Hurkacz, who had defeated Russian Daniil Medvedev (2nd) in the round of 16, only needed one hour and 49 minutes to beat the Swiss legend 6-3, 7-6 (7/4) and 6-0. (AFP)
