Rosberg: “I feel privileged to have the best car on the grid”

German driver Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) feels “privileged” to have “the best car on the grid” and hopes to get “the most out of it.”
After getting his second victory in Bahrain in the two races that have been contested in this championship, Rosberg is the leader in the general classification with 50 points. “It is very good to start the season in such a positive way,” Rosberg acknowledged in a statement from his team.
After Finn Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) took second place in Bahrain, Rosberg explained: “We haven’t seen the real Ferrari yet, so we could have a very exciting season ahead of us.”
The 30-year-old driver commented that he is taking things “step by step, race by race” and ensures that his goal is “for more victories to come.”
His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, second overall with 33 points, comments in the same statement that for him it was not “a good start to the season”, but that “getting two podiums after two bad races is a good sign” .
The Englishman is not concerned about their performances as there are no “real flaws” in the way they are competing and claims that he will “keep working as hard” as he has done so far.
The next race will be in Shanghai, a circuit in which Hamilton has achieved five ‘poles’ and four victories, so he hopes that “this race could be the turning point.”
