Russia’s Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (32nd in the world) qualified for the Roland Garros final on Thursday, in what will be her first Grand Slam final, by defeating Slovenian Tamara Zidansek (85th) 7-5, 6-3 in the semifinals .
Pavlyuchenkova will face the winner of the other semifinal for the title, between Greek Maria Sakkari (18th) and Czech Barbora Krejcikova (33rd). (GG) (AFP)
