Evaristo Coronado, Saprissa’s sports manager, told Radio Columbia of Costa Rica on Monday that they are analyzing what to do with some players, including Honduran striker Rubilio Castillo.
“Rubigol ”came to the Tico club with the idea of being the team’s top scorer, but the Catracho attacker did not establish himself in the starting eleven and enjoyed fewer minutes than he expected.
However, in a balance between scoring goals and the amount of time on the court, Castillo’s numbers are good, as he managed to score seven goals in his first season with Saprissa.
Regarding the Honduran Rubilio Castillo, who failed to establish himself as a starter under the command of “Paté” Centeno, Evaristo commented: «Of course, he does not feel comfortable because of the role that this tournament played. We will analyze your topic thoroughly. He is a player who is expensive, he is very efficient, the minutes he played he took advantage of to score. Still, he is not necessarily the player who has the characteristics that the coaching staff is looking for. Let’s analyze it more ». (Statement courtesy of EverardoHerrera.com)
