“Scorpion” Ruiz: I will be world champion

Almost a month after being able to achieve one more dream in a sports career, the Honduran boxer Josec “Escorpión” Ruiz assures that “I am already preparing to win, this time I will reach 100 percent”.
A native of Colón, Ruiz has already tasted the honeys of being a Central American champion, which was snatched from him by the Nicaraguan Rafael “Jaguar” Castillo.
“That for me was left behind, I must admit that I did not prepare well, today I have a different mentality, I am going to Colombia to bring me that Central American and Caribbean belt, I do not know my rival, but he will meet me on October 11”.
But the hunger for triumph does not go that far. “Scorpion” Ruiz’s main objective is to be world champion, “that is a dream that I have had since I started boxing, and no one will stand in my way until I achieve it” .
Ruiz recognizes that everything he is today, he owes to his coach Julián Solís, and to his manager Godofredo Fajardo, “the first has taught me everything I know about boxing, and the second has given me accommodation, food, study and me gives a scholarship, they are pillars in my training ”.
“My dream will come true the day I am fighting in Las Vegas and winning a world title, and let everyone know that in Honduras we also have good boxing … and good boxing.”
