The German driver Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin) will also not be able to race this weekend at the F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to the positive for coronavirus that he gave last week and that already caused him to miss the Bahrain Grand Prix.
“Nico Hulkenberg will do free practice, qualifying and will race on Sunday alongside Lance Stroll. Despite the lack of mileage in ‘AMR22’, Nico managed well in Bahrain and we are sure he will do the same in Jeddah. We expect Sebastian Vettel to be fit for the Australian Grand Prix,” Aston Martin said on his official Twitter account.
In this way, the four-time world champion will leave his place to his compatriot, who already competed last weekend in the premiere of the Formula 1 World Championship in Sakhir in which he finished in seventeenth position, the same position as in qualifying.
