The forward of the FC Barcelona Sergio Agüero assured this Friday that he follows the indications of the doctors and that his “evolution will be seen within 90 days”, after press reports stating that he could have to leave football due to his heart problems.
“Given the rumors I tell them that I am following the indications of the club’s doctors, doing tests and treatment and see my progress within 90 days,” Agüero wrote on his official Twitter account.
“Always positive,” concluded the Argentine forward, after this Friday the Catalunya Radio station stated that “he could no longer play football due to a serious heart disease.”
The medium itself clarified that “the doctors will monitor his evolution and during the next few months he will have resonances and stress tests, but his pathology could be incompatible with professional sports practice.”
Agüero had to withdraw from the league game against Alavés on October 30 due to chest discomfort and slight dizziness.
After being treated by the assistants, Kun withdrew on his own foot, being replaced by Coutinho, and was evacuated to a hospital, where a cardiological study was carried out.
A few days later, Barça announced that Kun had been “subjected to a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure by dr. Josep Brugada ».
“It is low and in the next three months the effectiveness of the treatment will be evaluated to determine its recovery process,” he added.
Arrived at the Barça club last European summer from Manchester City, the 33-year-old forward has played five official games for Barça, scoring just one goal. (AFP)
