The coach of the Sierra Leone women’s soccer team, accused of sexual harassment by several players, was arrested this Friday, police sources reported this Saturday.
Abdulai Kaloga Baha spent the night of Friday to Saturday arrested in the capital Freetown, added the same sources without offering more data.
The coach had already been suspended from his duties on Monday by the Sierra Leone Football Federation (SLFA), pending the results of an investigation.
The Federation “received several text messages and audio records from female players” that shed light on a behavior of “harassment and intimidation”, Ibrahim Kamara, its spokesman, told AFP, without offering further details.
