Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United manager, confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will play against Newcastle United, but did not reveal whether he will start as a starter or from the bench.
The Portuguese footballer will start his second stage as ‘Red Devil’ at Old Trafford this Saturday, after arriving in the last days of the transfer market from Juventus in Turin.
Cristiano has been in Manchester for several days, after breaking the record for international goals with Portugal, and has already trained with his new teammates.
“He has had a good week with us and I’m sure he will be on the field this Saturday at some point,” Solskjaer said at a press conference, without revealing if he will start in the starting eleven.
“We know everything he has achieved in his career, but he comes here to win more. It is what it does. He has always lived with the greatest possible discipline. Even when he got here, I remember how well he prepared. He arrived 45 minutes before training ». EFE (HN)
