One of the best athletes of the moment in the NBA is Stephen Curry of the Golden State champion team.
Given this, many of the sports brands have been behind the basketball player to make it their sports image, one of them was the prestigious Nike.
Of course, having Curry wearing Nike’s famous symbol brand sneakers would be a huge boost in the market.
But Curry had the luxury of saying no to the giant company and losing many millions of dollars, for religious reasons.
Before signing, the Golden star put a condition to the creators of his boots, a phrase from the Bible, Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”).
Curry himself on some occasions demonstrated his faith in the religion he professes, he wrote this phrase in his own handwriting, which was not well seen by Nike, so the decision was made not to continue with that bond and now you saw Under Armour, who does stamp this on their footwear.
