Overcoming the heroic resistance of Giannis Antetokounmpo (42 points), the Phoenix Suns beat the Milwaukee Bucks 118-108 this Thursday and took a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals.
Devin Booker, with 31 points, and Mikal Bridges, with 27, led the victory at the Phoenix Suns Arena against Antetokounmpo, who without the support of his teammates, finished with 42 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The Greek star, who is competing for the ring for the first time, shot proudly in a third quarter in which he scored 20 points, the most for a Finals period since Michael Jordan in 1993.
The Suns, who haven’t competed in a Finals since 1993, are just two wins away from celebrating their first ever championship ring.
