The Phoenix Suns beat the Denver Nuggets 122-105 on Monday to go 1-0 up in their NBA Western Conference semifinal series.
With all five starters with double-figure markers, the Suns had four of them with more than 20 points each, led by Mikal Bridges.
Bridges overflowed with 23 points, followed by Devin Booker and point guard Chris Paul with 21 points each, with eight rebounds the first and 11 assists the last.
With 20 cards and 10 balls recovered in the rebound fight, center Deandre Ayton also finished.
Third-seeded Denver got there by eliminating the Portland Trail Blazers in six games in the first round, while the second-seeded Suns defeated defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers in six games.
