Takuma Sato, first Japanese to win the Indianapolis 500
Takuma Sato (Andretti Autosport) became the first Japanese to win the Indianapolis 500 this Sunday by winning the 101st edition of this legendary race.
Sato prevailed at Indianapolis Motor Speedway ahead of Brazilian Helio Castroneves (Team Penske), who touched his fourth win, and rookie Ed Jones (Dale Coyne Racing), a British born in Dubai.
