Honduran boxer Teófimo López, triumphantly continues his career as a professional, this Saturday he beat Mexican Juan Pablo Sánchez and thus reached eight fights and zero defeats.
The victory was not easy for the catracho boxer, as he suffered a cut on his left eyebrow, but as the fight progressed, he demonstrated his power and subdued his opponent who arrived as a favorite after his great experience and many fights.
López, won by decision of the judges, with a score of 60-54 (twice) and 59-55.
With his victory, the catracho continues to increase his professional bonuses, reaching eight fights, six won by knockouts and zero losses.
The evening where the catracho once again raised the name of Honduras, was held on Saturday night at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States.
Teófimo López, who represented Honduras at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, will now seek his first professional title in March at the mythical Madison Square Garden in New York City, which will be the NABC World Championship.
