Honduran American boxer Teófimo López will have one of the toughest tests of his professional career when he faces Finnish Edis Tatli this Saturday.
The catracho’s contest will be at the mythical Madison Square Garden in New York City, and it is one of the stars of the card whose main course is the battle between Terence Crawford and Amir Khan in the welterweight division.
Lopez, who has unbeaten 12 fights in his career, will face a professional boxer who has twice won the European lightweight champion title.
Tatli is ranked number 3 in the International Boxing Federation (IBF) ranking and number 10 in the World Boxing Council (WBC).
If he wins the fight, the catracho will have a free hand to challenge the WBA or WBO lightweight champion.
