The Honduran American boxer Teófimo López will return to the ring and face the Japanese Masayoshi Nakatani, according to the promoter Top Rank Boxing, which has the rights to the catracho.
The contest will be Friday, July 19 and is one of the stars of the MGM National Harber card in Oxon Hill in Prince George’s County, Maryland, United States.
López, who has an undefeated 13 fights won as a professional, will seek to demonstrate his potential against the Asian and continue to climb to be able to fight for the title of professional boxing lightweights.
The Honduran’s rival, Masayoshi Nakatani is 30 years old, has won 18 fights, 12 by way of knockout and is ranked number 3 in the world in lightweight.
