The Barcelona stadium, the Camp Nou, will be a new mass vaccination point against covid-19 starting tomorrow, a space in which about 2,500 people can be immunized weekly and which will be open for three weeks.
According to the Generalitat Health Department, the new space will have four vaccination boxes and access will be made available to pedestrians through Calle Elisabeth Eidenbenz, at gate number 20 of the Camp Nou.
It can also be accessed by vehicle through access 1, located on Avenida de Joan XXIII, proving the previous vaccination appointment.
The care coordination of this vaccination point will be from the Hospital Clínic, which will provide the medical and nursing staff, and also from CAP Sarrià’s primary care, which will collaborate with administrative professionals for the registration and care of citizens.
On March 23, the then Minister of Health, Alba Vergés, and the president of Fútbol Club Barcelona, Joan Laporta, agreed to open the Sala Berlin-Camp Nou FC Barcelona vaccination point, and in recent weeks the Health and Barça have worked to find the best final location. EFE (HN)
