The Costa Brava Rally vetoes participants from countries at risk from coronavirus

The organization of the Rally Costa Brava, a classic vehicle test scheduled for March 13 and 14 in the province of Girona, has decided to exclude participants from countries with the highest number of people affected by the coronavirus.

Through a statement, those responsible for the test explain that they have made this decision after meeting with those responsible for the Generalitat and in accordance with the recommendations of Public Health and the Advisory Council of the Civil Protection Plan of Catalonia.

The Costa Brava Rally is the most important historical motorsport event in Spain

The measure to exclude these participants mainly affects the Italian teams that had submitted their application to participate in the race.
