The light fly Argilagos gives the first medal to Cuba in Rio 2016

Light fly world champion Johannys Argilagos defeated Kenyan Peter Warui by unanimous vote and secured for Cuba its first medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Argilagos boxed from long distance with good management of the left rectum and shot with his right hand, he showed more speed than in his previous fight and became the first boxing medalist of the Games.

Cuba won five gold, three silver and six bronze medals at the 2012 London Olympics and aims to at least match that performance in Rio. EFE
