The Mexican González exposes his feather title

The Mexican Jhonny González, world featherweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), will expose his title tomorrow for the first time against Guyanese Clive Atwell in a 12-round fight that will take place in Acapulco, Mexico’s Pacific.
INTERAt the weigh-in that was held today in Acapulco, both the Mexican and the Guyanese set the division limit, 57,152 kilograms.
The 32-year-old Mexican will return to the ring after eight months of the August fight in which he defeated his compatriot Abner Mares by knockout, from whom he snatched the championship in Carson, California (USA).
Gonzalez, with a record of 55 wins, 47 on the fast track, and 8 losses, leads in experience over the undefeated Atwell, 25, who has 13 wins, 7 before the limit and a draw. EFE
