The Formula One Mexican Grand Prix today put about 40,000 tickets on sale with prices from $ 424 to $ 1,225, the organizers of the race scheduled for October 30 to November 1 reported.
Most of the tickets placed for sale correspond to the Foro Sol stadium, where two curves of the route pass, and whose capacity was expanded by 10% to receive more fans, a spokesperson for the organizers explained to Efe.
The general tickets of 1,500 pesos (about $ 98) have been the first to be sold out at this stage of the sale, which reserves the first two days for card users of two banks sponsoring the Grand Prize.
Fans will be able to buy tickets for the Foro Sol starting at 4,500 pesos (294 dollars) in the South zone and 6,500 pesos (about 424 dollars) in the North zone, the organizers said in a statement.
The Grand Prize will offer for sale seats of 9,000 pesos (585 dollars) in the Gold Stands; 12,000 pesos (784 dollars) in the Platinum Stands; and 18,750 pesos (1,225 dollars) in the grandstand in front of the main straight.
Last April, organizers offered the most exclusive tickets at prices of up to $ 8,399 with the right to food and rides through the supply pits (pits) of the cars.
The Hermanos Rodríguez racetrack has the capacity to receive about 100,000 spectators for Formula One, which returns to this country after 23 years of absence.
The most exclusive tickets will be located above the supply pits with the guarantee of “privileged views from start to finish of the race”, the right to extra entertainment, “gourmet” food and rides through the pits at designated times. EFE
