The purchase of the Minnesota Timberwolves is complicated again

A little over a month ago the transfer of ownership of the Minnesotta Timberwolves became official.

Its current owner, Glen Taylor, reached an agreement with former baseball player Alex Rodríguez and his partner Marc Lore for a billion and a half dollars.

The signed contract gave the two buyers exclusive negotiation for a period of thirty days to take ownership of the Wolves and the Lynx, the WNBA team.

However, Brian Windhorst has informed ESPN that said period has ended without reaching a definitive agreement.

In principle, the idea was that the transfer of power was gradual, with Glen Taylor being relegated from his position for the 23-24 season.

According to Windhorst, the negotiation aims to enter an extension to reach a deal, but the first bullet is already spent. Taylor already has a long history of unsuccessful sales attempts, but this time it was taken for granted.

In any case, the information does not point to a real danger about the negotiation, although the points where both parties differ are unknown. (GG) (NBA Maniacs)
