The Raptors, brand new NBA champions after winning the sixth game of the final series 114-110 against the Golden State Warriors, will celebrate the first title in their history on Monday in the streets of Toronto.
The Canadian side also became the first non-United States franchise to lift the trophy and the first sports team to bring their country a title since the Blue Jays in the Major Leagues in 1993.
The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. (2:00 p.m. GMT) at the team’s training venue, the OVO Athletic Center, and will run down Lake Shore Boulevard to downtown, ending at City Hall. AFP
