They denounce the theft of Michael Schumcher’s medical records

Michael Schumacher’s representative, Sabine Kehm, has released a statement on Monday in which she denounces the theft of the alleged medical record of the German pilot, who spent six months in a coma in a hospital in Grenoble after a ski accident.
-“Stolen documents and data have been offered for sale for many days. Who offers them assures that it is the medical history of Michael Schumacher “, affirms Kehm in his statement.
“We cannot say if these documents are authentic. Either way it is clear that the documents have been stolen. The thief has been reported and the authorities are already working on the matter, “he adds.
Kehm warns that “the purchase and publication of such documents is prohibited” and that “the content of any medical file is completely private and confidential information and cannot be made available to the public.”
“Therefore, we will request criminal charges and damages, in each specific case, against any publication of the content or reference to the medical record,” he concludes.
Michael Schumacher was hospitalized in Grenoble since December 29 after suffering a ski accident. On June 16, he came out of his coma and left the university hospital in that city to continue his “long phase” of recovery.
The seven-time Formula One world champion suffered a skiing accident on an unmarked track at the Méribel resort, in the French Alps, where he owns a residence and where he practiced this sport with his son.
He hit his head on a rock and, from the first moment, the doctors, who subjected him to two neurosurgery operations, feared that he could suffer brain damage. EFE
