“It is not a question of money,” Laporta said not long ago. Lionel Messi and Barcelona are preparing the official announcement to present the renewal of the Argentine, who will thus sign his last contract as a professional with the Barcelona team.
One that, as we have said in the last hours, will tie him to the club for the next decade and that will allow him to travel the planet represented by the team.
To do so, the Rosario will renounce a significant benefit in euros to remain linked to the institution.
The Chiringuito de Jugones began with the information: “The 240 million people are talking about are gross, not net. With taxes, it will be only 120 that Messi will receive for remaining linked to Barcelona. He will not play for 8 of those 10 years in Barcelona ”.
“Messi is going to continue at Barça, but to do so he will have to reduce his salary. That is why from now on it is expected to collect only 30 million in the first year. As long as the damage of the pandemic continues, it is not feasible to pay him 75 that he currently charges, ”the media dictated in its issue of Jugones.
Money that will be recovered in the future
The Argentine will continue to be linked to Barcelona in his adventure through MLS and around the world as an ambassador.
The culé team will continue to be the owner of its federative rights with the intention of continuing to make money with Messi in the United States.
The contract will remunerate him in some way that resignation of 35 million that the Rosario will have to do to continue as a Blaugrana.
“It is not a question of money,” said Laporta, who comes out as the great winner of a negotiation that has him right now as the most congratulated within Barcelona. The signature is missing but for now, it seems that Lionel’s love for his colors goes beyond the economic. (GG) (Bolavip)
