According to Ken Rosenthal, Jose Berrios is on his way to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for prospects Simeon Woods-Richardson and Austin Martin. Two of the Jays’ top 5 prospects who are now Twins.
The 27-year-old Jose Berrios, 6’0 feet and 203 pounds, has been an all-star twice and in six seasons in the MLB he owns a 55-43 record. with 779 strikeouts in 781 innings, nearly one strikeout for every sold out inning.
Berrios was that pitcher that the Blue Jays had longed for for several seasons, a right very consistent with the experience he has. We’re talking about a two-time all-star with 6 MLB seasons.
