Former American super lightweight boxer Yusaf Mack, who openly acknowledged his homosexual status in 2015 and has since struggled with homophobic comments on social media, tracked down one of his biggest assailants and took it out with a beating.
Footage from the incident, which occurred Saturday night at the Los Angeles Clippers barber shop in Philadelphia, shows Mack beating a man on the floor violently. The assaulted man was identified as Hector Echevarria, who allegedly harassed the former fighter with “anti-gay” comments on social media.
After this incident, Yusaf Mack, 37, increased the privacy of his profiles on the web. And, as he told the TMZ.com portal, he has no regrets for having beaten the alleged stalker.
For his part, Echeverría did not want to speak to the local media, who reported that he made some homophobic publications on his Facebook page: “I would rather have a video where they beat me than a video of a man sleeping with me.”
His message has to do with the fact that Yusaf Mack became a gay porn actor when he retired from sports. (Infobae)
