VIDEO: They are looking for the perpetrators of the shooting at a boxing tournament in Dublin

The Irish Police are looking today for four individuals who, dressed as police and women, shot into a boxing tournament in Dublin (Ireland) yesterday, leaving one dead and two wounded.
The Chief Superintendent of the Irish Gardai, Barry O’Brien, has pointed out that “big guns”, similar to AK-47 rifles, were used in the incident.

“Two individuals were wearing what has been described as SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics Unit) type police uniforms with metal helmets, similar to those seen on criminal television series,” he said.
The Police have also confirmed that another of the assailants was dressed as a woman, with a brown wig.
At least four attackers shot into the Regency Hotel in North Dublin yesterday, where some 300 people, including children, were attending the weight session of the fighters participating in a great fight that was supposed to take place tonight.
A partial video of the event posted on the internet shows the moment when one of the boxers, wearing a Superman swimsuit, leaves the podium after being examined, after which the shots are heard and the boxer and the rest of the attendees flee in terror. .
According to the testimony of the president of the Irish Boxing Union, Mel Christle, the shooting, which took place in the hotel lobby, was not directed at the boxers but at other people located in that area.
The three victims, aged between 20 and 30, were taken to a hospital, where one of them died.
Several witnesses said that they hid behind furniture when they saw that the assailants opened fire on specific targets.
Sports journalist Kevin McAnena, who was covering the event, explained that the criminals carried “huge weapons”, which they pointed at him before he managed to take refuge behind the reception counter.
McAnena said they appeared to be looking for someone and said he saw a man near him being shot, who was ultimately killed. “It was surreal, it happened very quickly,” he declared.
The assailants fled in a van that was later found on fire near the area.
The promoter of the sporting event, announced as “Clash of Clans”, is the MGM company, which has a gym in the Spanish town of Puerto Banús, in Malaga, indicated “The Irish Independent”.
Some media point to the possibility that the attack was the work of one of the Irish organized crime gangs operating on the Costa del Sol, which allegedly shot gangsters in Dublin.
The star fight is the one that was scheduled for tonight, between the Irish Jamie Kavanagh and the Portuguese Joao Bento, in which the European title of the World Boxing Organization in the lightweight category was decided.
The Box Nation television channel, which was to broadcast the fight, has indicated that it has been suspended as a result of the event. EFE
