Vladimir Guerrero leads voting for 2021 Major League All-Star Game

Vladimir Guerrero Jr (51%) of the Toronto Blue Jays leads the vote for the All-Star Game of Major League Baseball, which will take place on July 13 in Denver, Colorado, home of the Rockies .

In second place is his compatriot Fernando Tatis Jr. (40%) of the San Diego Padres, and Venezuelan outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. (16%), of the Atlanta Braves.

All three sluggers battle for the lead in home runs in the majors, as Guerrero is 22, followed by Tatis with 19 and Acuña with 18.

For the first time in the preselection between the two Leagues (National and American), 10 Cubans appear among the 51 nominees so far, led by Nolan Arenado (Cardinals) and JD Martínez (Red Sox) with 14 and 18%, respectively.

Major League Baseball announced that the All-Star Game and its other activities surrounding the event will be held at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
