Wehrlein fastest on first day of testing at Spielberg

The German Pascal Wehrlein, Mercedes test driver, has been the fastest in the first of the two days of practice that the teams carry out this week at the Red Bull Ring in Speilberg, scene last Sunday of the Grand Prix of Austria.

The test day has been conditioned by the rain, in such a way that the morning session had to be canceled. The afternoon session lasted two more hours for this reason, but the return of the rainfall meant that the cars could roll until 8:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. GMT).

Unsurprisingly, the Mercedes, with Pascal Wehrlein at the wheel, remained at the top of the timesheet. He gave the best of his 37
laps in a time of 1: 11.005. The German Nico Rosberg will take the wheel of the car that dominates the championship tomorrow.
