Stars Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook joined forces on Thursday in the NBA to guide the Washington Wizards on the road to victory with a 131-129 victory over the Toronto Raptors, who were virtually eliminated from the playoffs.
With the loss, the Canadian quintet was virtually out of the inning mini-tournament, in which teams from 7th to 10th place disputed eighth place in the conference for the playoffs.
Beal scored 14 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and Westbrook posted his 34th triple-double of the season with 13 points, 17 rebounds and 17 assists. (AFP) (GG)
