Wozniacki and Bencic, injured, casualties at Roland Garros

The former Danish world number one Caroline Wozniacki and the Swiss Belinda Bencic, eighth in the ranking, will not be due to injury in the next edition of Roland Garros that will begin this Sunday, the organizers reported today.
Wozniacki suffers a right ankle injury that has kept her off the slopes since March, while the Helvetian suffers back pain and her last game was in early April in Charleston.
American Lauren Davis, 115th in the world, will take her place in the final draw of the clay court Grand Slam. EFE
