Multiple New York Yankees players were placed on the Coronavirus disabled list prior to the MLB series against the Red Sox.
The series of the New York Yankees vs the Boston Red Sox began this July 15, being the only game on the card after the all-star game.
This series had to be suspended because several players were sent to the Coronavirus list. The names revealed are Gio Urshela, Wandy Peralta, Nestor Cortes Jr, Aaron Judge, Jonathan Loaisig and Kyle Higashioka.
However, Aaron Judge, Jonathan Loaisiga and GIo Urhsela all tested positive.
All of those named players are essential for a team looking to bounce back from this All-Star break in determining whether to trade or buy players in MLB2021. The aforementioned players have the coronavirus vaccine in their body fully, thus possibly avoiding something worse. It is rumored that one of these players was the one who infected the rest of his teammates. (Fielding)
Journalist Buster Olney reported three Yankees players from Covid-19
The three other Yankees position players who are in COVID-19 protocol are Aaron Judge, Kyle Higashioka, and Gio Urshela. Because Judge was at the All-Star Game with other players, this has triggered contact tracing questions for the Red Sox players (and presumably others).
