Peruvian boxer Linda Lecca comfortably defeated Mexican Guadalupe Martínez in her first defense of the World Boxing Association (WBA) super flyweight world title.
Our champion had a great presentation, showed confidence in the ring and never wavered in front of the fierce Mexican. In a unanimous decision, the judges gave the victory to Lecca before the uproar of the public present at the El Cancherín de San Antonio Complex in Huarochirí.
“I was calm and knew what I had to do,” said the ‘Inca Princess’ in brief statements, after the ten-round fight with Martínez.
