Paula Badosa qualifies for Wimbledon main draw

The tennis player Paula Badosa qualified this Thursday for the main draw of the Wimbledon tournament after defeating the British Samantha Murray (6-4, 2-6 and 6-3).

The 21-year-old Spaniard will play for the first time in the final draw of the third Grande of the season after falling in the first round of the qualifying round on her debut last year.

Badosa has needed three games decided in the third set against the Romanian Patricia Maria Tig, the Chinese Fangzhou Liu and Murray, to sign his presence in what will be the second Grand Slam of his career.

Badosa made his debut at the last Australian Open, where after passing the qualifying phase, he lost in the first round to a local guest.
